About our Cooking Classes
Fees:
Cooking class prices range from $25.00 to $60.00 depending on type of class and menu.
Instructors:
We contract with professional chefs and local cooking specialists for all of our classes.
What is the minimum and maximum class size?
The maximum class size is limited to 12 for hands on participation. Demonstration only classes can seat up to 16. The Chefs will set the minimum they are willing to teach. We have had chefs teach as few as two students.
What do I need to bring to class?
It is rare that we require students to bring anything to class but if we do, it is denoted in the class description. Otherwise, bring yourself and hopefully a friend and we provide the rest. Each student is provided an apron and all of the tools to complete the menu.
Do I need to eat before the class?:
No need to eat before attending the class. We provide geneous tastings and wine with our classes.
Is alcohol served in your classes?
Culina holds an on premise beer and wine license which allows us to serve two 5oz. glasses of wine or beer during the class. Outside alcohol may not be consumed in the store at any time.
Perks?
You will receive printed menu packet and 15% off any store purchases made that day and 10% off the following week.
What is your cancellation policy? Chefs monitor class reservations closely to determine how much food to buy for their classes. Last minute cancellations result in wasted food. Therefore Culina has implemented the following policy. Classes are 100% refundable for cash or back to your credit card if cancelled no later than 48 before the day of the class. No refunds for classes cancelled within the 48 hour window.
What time are your classes?
Unless otherwise noted on the individual class schedule all class times are as follows:
Weekday cooking classes are from 6-9 PM
Weekend cooking classes are from 2-5 PM
