If there is one common thread among Culina's staff it is that we all looooove cake....delicious, crumby, moist, made from scratch cake.
The Culina staff sat around the kitchen island and pondered our strategy for cake and the decision was unanimous. Culina will become known for a few great torted layer cakes.

We specialize in couture cakes for your wedding, birthday, anniversary or any special occassion. Cake pricng starts at $2.00 and up per slice depending on the size, flavors/fillings and design. A contract and 50% deposit is required at time of booking.A sample of our cake gallery:

Helpful Information:
Cake pricing is based on a Chocolate, Heavenly White or Golden Butter Vanilla cake with a filling of jam, lemon curd or basic butter cream filling and iced with standard butter cream icing. Butter cream may be colored to suit. Decorations are limited to basic icing decorations (Swiss dot pattern, swirls, basket weave, ribbon trim, icing flowers…) Reminder:For wedding cakes, the top tier does not factor into feeding count but it does factor into cake cost count.
Additional up charges per slice:
$1.00 - Odd Shaped Cakes (Cakes that have to be sculpted to shape)
$2.00 - Cupcake Wedding Cakes (topper plus cupcake charge)
$1.00 - Fondant covered frosting
$1.00 - Chocolate or White Chocolate Ganache icing
$1.00 - Marzipan frosting
$.50 - Cream cheese icing:

$1.00 - Fresh Fruit, Nut, Exotic Crème fillings (i.e, fillings made with with Crème fraiche, marscapone...)

Cake Stands: Cake Stands may be purchased or rented from Culina. We will discuss this at the time of booking.
Delivery: Culina will be happy to deliver and assemble your cake. Delivery charge $25.00 if within the Lynchburg, City limits. Outside of the city limits up to 50 miles $50.00 and $50.00 for every 50 mile increment.
Emergencies: Cake emergencies while we are still on site are free of charge. After we leave the site, emergency cake repair is $25.00 per 50 mile increment traveled.
